No plans yet…. Yesterday I was feeling so tired that I lounched on the couch all afternoon….I skipped my running and my pilates lesson. (bad girl I know……….)
What should we do this weekend though???
Did I mention??? The other day (the day that I had my off from work we went to the zoo! It was so nice. I have photos coming up….). I have taken the most romantic and sweet picture that I could ever hope. It involves deers and it is going to be my Christmas card…..
Today at work I decided to fix my hair…..(I got a bad bad bad comment!!! which is not acceptable, especially for my hair!!!) So I booked an apointment for cut and coupe!! Actually I don’t do severe change to my hair lately….. Even my highlights were sooooooo light that people could not tell if I changed something….
Back to my today hair……So the plan was to trim my hair and have a nice do to show off the new cut! But I ended up asking for a fix of the color…..
So now I have brown hair again with a slight touch of highlights with a pinch of red…..
My haircut is sooooooooo nice…..This hairsalon wins a “I’m coming back here” from me!! (not many have earned it in my 27 years!!)
“I wanted to do shoes which are really just shoes for seduction. For pleasure. For sex. That’s it. A shoe, you cannot run, you cannot even walk. You want to run in your shoes? Buy sneakers.”—Christian Louboutin
It is raining like crazy today….This is not good! There have been many accidents over the weekend because of the rain across the country! It hasn’t rained all autumn and suddenly there are lakes instead of roads!!!
Every morning I usually drive 20 minutes to get to work! This morning I was jammed in traffic for half an hour and my whole ride was 50 minutes!
In Greece we are not ready for this kind of severe and dramatic rain! It is a sunny country!! People were walking down the street wearing flats like I am!!But I get in my car from my garage and get out in front of the office! I don’t have to walk to work!
You should wear raincoats and jelly rain boots!!!
I don’t own a raincoat but my jelly boots are waiting for this kind of weather!!!I must get a raincoat!!!
It is a rainy Sunday afternoon…I have to prepare myself (as I am being a teacher lately too) for my lesson tomorrow….So I am in my velour track pants and drinking cofffe waiting for the time to see the “Coco avant Chanel” to come.
Well I do! A lot!!! Not eBay. Other online stores! My close friends know that Net-A-Porter is my homepage!!!
Lately in an attempt to save money (and still buy new clothes…) I shopped some stuff from various cheaper online stores!! One of them is asos.com . Not any special clothes, mainly cheap. It is like H&M but online! I am impressed with the quality of service though! They have a very good customer care department! They answer to all the emails quickly and politely!
The thing is that I have an issue (one of many!!). If I go to a store (or online store) and the people interacting with me are kind, I can’t help but buy something! But if they are not, I get really really snob myself!!
So I got an email today from the customer care team of asos.com apologizing for a faulty item that I received. I still cannot believe what they say is going to happen! Stay tunned to find out……
Today, as I was getting dressed, I realized that I need some work pumps!!!!!I cannot wear 10cm shoes at work and I cannot wear the flats that go with my jeans!!!!!!!!! I was tempted to buy the Louboutins simple 85 in black suede, but my office is not fancy, and it would be a waist to have work pumps so pricy and never wear them.
I saw some pumps appropriate for work in a store the other day! And also I saw the perfect boots in the perfect color across the street!!
You all know what this means! I have to go shoe shopping!! Friday it is! I can’t wait!!!!!
I had my friend Angie visiting this weekend! It was amazing!!!!We had such a good time…Going out for drinks, having coffee (actually tea-because of my cold!!) and lunch. A nice Sunday in the rainy city.
I miss my friends here and having them over is always fantastic!
Today is the opening of an IKEA store in the city that I am currently living! But being a student in Thessaloniki (where the first IKEA opened in Greece) and a decorating lover, I have many many furniture and stuff from IKEA -about 90% at this point is from this store! Every time I tried buying something from another one, I didn’t like it, it was very difficult to put together and almost never matched the other furniture. So basically my house looks like the catalogue of the IKEA!! I know that this is not a good thing -I did put my taste of course in the house-but I leave a low budget on furniture and a bigger one in clothes and an even bigger on shoes!!!!!!!
But today I keep listening to the words of Blair Waldorf when she was making fun to Vanessa’s apartment.
Blair: “You just won 365 more days in your IKEA-furnished closet”
Maybe I should buy grown up furniture….maybe I should buy stuff that will last a long time……
You know what?? I don’t care!!! I like my house to be delicate and fancy. I will manage to do it with IKEA cheap and easy furniture. And then if I am bored of them I will give them away and buy other ones.
I am officially calling ALL my Wednesdays (and Mondays-but these are after weekends so they don’t count) from now on until July, CRAZY Wednesday!
The reason? I have started teaching to the local Technological Educational Institute some lessons! Aside from my regular job, this is something extra I wanted to take!
These lessons are on Mondays and Wednesdays afternoons. So I leave the house on 7:30 in the morning and come back on 21:30!!!!!!! On a weekly basis! Not some extra hours at work because I had to, once in a while.
I thought that I can get past the first month, the time I usually need to get used to some new routine, with dinner with my man and a nice relaxing bubble bath at the end of the day.
The first Crazy Wednesday is actually over, I am still alive, working and I am planning my work-out for this afternoon, running and yoga!!
I think I will get used to this new routine pretty easily….We’ll see…..
Although OPI has very fascinating names for the colors of the nail polishes, I can tell you for sure that ‘Batille my Heart' looks exactly like the sour cherry marmelade we had for breakfast this morning!!!
